It was a tale of two shows this weekend with some fantastic results from the whole team. Whilst our young horses travelled a few minutes down the road to our local show at Hickstead, the A-Team made their way to Rotterdam for the CSIO5* Nations Cup to represent Ireland. We had a fantastic weekend at…
It’s always an honor to get the call to represent Team Ireland for a Nations Cup, so when Trevor was selected for the CSIO5* Team in Sopot with Highland President, and the CSIO3* Team in Prague with Germaine W, the whole team were delighted to head out to Europe once again to fly the Irish…
It’s always a pleasure to be able to compete on the international circuit in the UK, and Chard is becoming one of our favourite venues. We are incredibly proud of homebred Kannendro who made his international debut this show. Taking all the 1.30 classes in his stride, he spun around the first day for 11th.…
We are back home from a wonderful week at one of our favourite shows in the calendar – CSI5* Royal Windsor. With top-class sport in the Queen’s back garden, some beautiful sunshine, and a string of amazing horses – we had a fantastic week. The 5* start list featured 5 out of the top 10…

We are thrilled to be back in the Middle East to kick off the 2022 season with Germaine W, Highland President and Toyger making the flight over for some top-class showjumping. Our first two shows were held at the incredible Abu Dhabi Equestrian Club and Riding School, which has fantastic facilities to host a 4*…
What a week it’s been for the team. It’s safe to say the end to Vilamoura Champions Tour could not have gone better for Trevor and Heather & Ian Black’s Highland President. Homebred Archie was selected to jump for Ireland in this weekend’s CSIO3* Nations Cup, the first team appearance for this 9-year-old. It’s safe…
Another week in Vilamoura, another success report. We have been blown away with how the horses have performed out in Portugal throughout the tour, and are incredibly proud of the whole team of horses, riders and grooms for the sheer hard work that has gone into it. From training of the horses at home to…
Week three of Vilamoura brought even more top 10 results for Trev and the Breen Sport Horses team. Old Lodge Stud’s Forest Ranger OL stepped up to the age classes this week and impressed in the 7-year-old classes. Jumping some solid rounds on Monday and Tuesday, he finished the week on a high with an 11th place on…
Kicking off the week, Jircarla T jumped her age classes, continuing to give masterclasses every day. Clear the first day, then 2nd in the 7-year-old final and picking up 5th in the speed class, this talented young mare still has yet to touch a pole on this tour. What a horse, now to do one…
