Trevor Breen needs no introduction to the showjumping world. Originating in Ireland, Trevor has ridden nationally and internationally all his life to great success. With selections for The European Championships, Nations Cup Finals, and GCL Teams amongst other Irish National & International teams, and being longlisted for London 2012 and Rio 2016 Olympic Games. Trevor has had a consistently successful career on the international show jumping scene, winning on huge stages in The UAE, as well as CSI5* wins in London, Dublin, and Hickstead, and riding for Ireland on numerous winning Nations Cups.
Trevor captured the hearts of many at Hickstead in 2014, where he won the infamous Hickstead Derby on Adventure de Kannan – aka Addy – the one-eyed wonder horse. Trevor and Addy had a phenomenal collection of wins at the All England Jumping Course; in total, they won the British Speed Derby (2009), the Eventing Grand Prix (2012), the All England Grand Prix (2012) and the Queen Elizabeth II Cup. It is a record that no other horse has come close to matching at Hickstead and cemented Trevor as a beloved household name.
Caroline shares the passion for show jumping, achieving wins on the national and international circuit. She has trained with accomplished figures in British Showjumping, such as Tim Stockdale, and plays a crucial role in producing the young horses, training clients and overseeing all aspects of the business management.
2023 was a big year for Breen Sport Horses. Trevor played a crucial role in the Irish Team at the FEI European Championships and helped Ireland secure a silver medal with BSH’s homebred Highland President. Alongside jumping clear at The Nations Cup Finals in Barcelona for Team Ireland, Trevor also jumped crucial rounds for the GCL Team, the Rome Gladiators, helping the team to a podium finish at LGCT Riesenbeck.
