It was fantastic to be jumping at Hickstead for their inaugural Science Supplements All English Tour, and what a first week the whole team at Breen Sport Horses has had!

After jumping some stunning rounds on Wednesday & Thursday with the horses picking up qualifications for their finals, the results really started to roll in on Friday. In the 1.40, Germaine W impressed us with a quick double clear to finish 4th with stablemate Highland President also finishing in 10th place. New lad Toyger picked up another placing in the 1.30 Qualifier to finish 13th but it was 6-year-old Glenard Kannendro who really made the day one to remember. It was the 6-year-old Star of the Future Final and ‘Bullseye’, the half-brother to Highland President, who lived up to the class name, jumping a speedy double clear to finish on the podium in 2nd place. We couldn’t be prouder of this special homebred who has been produced slowly and carefully to ensure his talent and longevity.

The highlight of the show came on Sunday in the Grand Prix when Trevor and Highland President stepped up to the challenge and jumped one of only two double clears in the hotly contested class. Homebred ‘Archie’ again proved his bloodline to be the fast, careful and scopey jumpers that they are as he proved to be the best in the class, speeding through the finish to win. What an incredible day to win again in the main ring at Hickstead and looking forward to hopefully repeat the victory again next week to take home the Grand Slam bonus!

A huge thanks to our team, sponsors, and owners who make all of this possible – our win was a credit to you and how much work that gets put in to make these results possible!
