Trevor’s return to Europe in early March, following a successful season in the UAE, marked the beginning of the team’s European campaign. He wasted no time returning to the competition ring with a younger string of horses at the Mediterranean Equestrian Tour. The journey was made all the smoother with the arrival of a new STX truck, delivered just in time to transport the horses to Spain.
March also marked an important milestone for Mia, who made her international debut at MET, jumping countless clear rounds in the CSI2* Bronze 1m20 and in the 1m30 classes, with her two lovely horses, ‘Solid Gold HS Z’ and ‘Crack 41’. We couldn’t be prouder of Mia, riding with fantastic style and already proving to be competitive by coming 8th out of 96 starters in the 1m20 in the last week with ‘Solid Gold HS Z’.
Trevor also had a great tour with some new up-and-coming horses. ‘Drewmain Meira’ began her tour with an 8th place finish in the CSI2* Gold 1.30m, before stepping up to take an elegant win in the CSI2* Gold 1.35m, and then added a 10th place finish in the Gold 1.30m to her resume.
‘Drewmain Musachino’ jumped class each round, proving to get better and better. He picked up 9th place in the CSI3* 1.45m Ranking Class, secured 9th in the CSI3* Gold 1.50m World Ranking Class, and jumped a phenomenal round in the CSI3* 1m50 Grand Prix to finish off his tour.
The young horses ‘Z7 Code’ and ‘MGH Prima Ballerina’ delivered standout performances, both jumping double clears to finish 4th and 6th in the CSIYH1* 7YO 1.35m, and maintained that consistency throughout the week. Both horses impressed each week, with ‘MGH Prima Ballerina’ finishing on a high with 8th place in the CSIYH1* 1.40m 7YO Final.
It has been an exceptional tour for both horses and riders, made possible by the steadfast support of our team, owners, sponsors and supporters, to whom we extend our sincere thanks
