May has been an exciting month for us, filled with remarkable performances and milestones from our talented equine athletes.
We started the month strong on home soil in the UK at the CSI2* in Wellington. The exceptional mare, ‘ABC Cortana Cruise’, flew around the CSI2* 1m30 course to secure an impressive 2nd place! Our 8-year-old gelding, ‘Konrad Obolensky’, showcased his talent by making light work of the 1m45 class, earning a fantastic 4th place. Additionally, ‘ABC Cortana Cruise’ and ‘Kannoon Blue’ delivered stellar performances in the CSI2* 1m40, finishing 4th and 5th, respectively.
We also celebrated a significant milestone with ‘Konrad Obolensky’, who made his Grand Prix debut in the CSI2* Grand Prix, impressing us all. We can’t wait to see what more he will achieve!
The A-Team then headed to Switzerland, for the CSI5* show. In another thrilling showcase, our 8-year-old mare, ‘Check Paris PS’, shone brightly in the CSIYH1* 1m40 Youngster Cup, taking home 6th place, then put on a showcase with a super clear first round in the CSIYH1* 1m40/1m45 Youngster Cup Grand Prix at St. Gallen. ‘Luidam’s Warrior’ claimed 5th in the CSI5* 1m40 class with a very classy clear round. Continuing the momentum, Trevor put the green jacket back on a piloted ‘Highland President’ to a flawless double clear performance for Team Ireland in the Land Rover Discovery CSIO5* Nations Cup, helping secure 4th place for the team.
We also celebrated a fantastic achievement at the Southview Pony Premier, where Mia and her pony, ‘Another Milton’, delivered an outstanding triple clear, securing an impressive 3rd place in the 138cm class and clinching their coveted ticket to the Horse of the Year Show Final!
