July was another remarkable month for the team, marked by a wave of success both at home and abroad.
We had a great start to the month at CSIO5* Falsterbo, Sweden, with ‘Luidams Warrior’ keeping up her good form flying around the 1m50 Grand Prix qualifier clear and in 11th. The 8-year-old, ‘Konrad Obolensky’, made his 5* debut, making light work of the CSIO5* 1m45 Stifelson Prize to finish 2nd in this competitive class. Trevor and ‘Highland President’ jumped two brilliant clear rounds for Team Ireland in the CSIO5* Agria Nations Cup to secure the team a podium finish and take home the bronze, making it three double clears for Team Ireland this year alone! To finish on a high, ‘Highland President’ then delivered a top 10 result in the prestigious CSIO5* 1m60 Rolex Grand Prix.
Back on home turf, CSI3* Chard was off to a strong start with ‘Kanoon Blue’ making light work of the 1m45 to finish in 4th. ‘ABC Cortana Cruise’ had an incredible show, finishing in 4th in the CSI3* 140 and then took the victory in the CSI3* 140 jump-off class to finish our show.
Next up, it was back to the iconic Hickstead show ground for the Agria Royal International Horse Show. The standout performance was the 8-year-old ‘Konrad Obolensky’ jumping double clear in the B&C qualifier at Hickstead to claim 2nd and then claiming his first-ever win in the famous arena, taking victory in the Grade B&C Final with two foot-perfect rounds.
All focus was then turned to the RDS Dublin Horse Show, Ireland’s most prestigious show, which is always one of the year’s highlights. ‘Konrad Obolensky’ felt right at home in Dublin, stepping up to the occasion again and claiming 3rd place in the CSIO5* 1m45 Minerva Stakes. ‘Highland President’ kept up his good form, producing another clear round and placing 6th in the CSIO5* 1m60 Cashel Palace Hotel Stakes. ‘Kanoon Blue’ marked a noteworthy milestone in Dublin, stepping up easily to his first 5* show, claiming 9th in the CSIO5* 1m45 Royal Dublin Society Stakes and then producing another fantastic round in his first CSIO5* 1m50 in the Speed Championship.
A quick trip to Hickstead British Young Horse Championships was fruitful for Kanoon Blue, who took home 6th in the Trojan Track 1m40 National Grand Prix.
Thank you to everyone who makes these moments possible—from our hardworking team and supportive owners to our valued sponsors. With such momentum behind us, we are excited to see what the next month brings.
