The year has begun in the best way possible. Trevor won the CSI2* Grand Prix in Dubai, and Caroline made her comeback to the ring after a 12-month haitis; 2024 is giving us lots of things to be excited about!

CSI3*-W Al Ain consisted of only clear rounds for Trevor and his team. New ride, Luidam’s Warrior, jumped into 8th place in the CSI3* 1.35 and in the 1.45 CSI3* Ranking Class. Not to be outdone by stable mate, ABC Cortana Cruise, who finished 3rd in that class.

Consistent ‘Cortana’ continued her flying form onto CSI2* Dubai, expertly piloted by Trevor. They jumped the only clear round of the class to win the CSI2* 1.45 Grand Prix! We could not be more thrilled with this mare at only 9 years old; she has stepped up to these classes easily, and we are sure there is much more to come from her! Luidam’s Warrior slotted into 10th place in the CSI2* Grand Prix, having earlier that week, stormed to 3rd in the CSI2* 1.40.

Next on the calendar was CSI4* Al Shira’aa. Trevor and Luidam’s Warrior made their 1.50 debut memorable, jumping a phenomenal clear round and ABC Cortana Cruise picking up 9th place in the CSI4* 1.45.

Meanwhile, back at home, Caroline returned to the ring, jumping three excellent clear rounds in the National 1.30s with new ride, Carlosspri I – It’s like she never left! Caroline has been busy expertly producing the young horses at home, ready for the rest of the 2024 season.

It was a treat to have homebred Kannedro, half-brother to Trevor’s European Championship Silver Medalist ride, Highland President, back in action for CSIO4* Sharjah. Competing in the CSI1*, he jumped clear in the 1.30. Luidam’s Warrior added another 1.50 clear round to her tally, jumping into 10th place in the CSI4* 1.50 LR Grand Prix. ABC Cortana Cruise was her usual fantastic self, jumping clear in the CSI4* 1.45 Ranking Class.

We are halfway through our time in the UAE and feel incredibly grateful to have such talented horses on our team! Thank you to every person that makes results like this possible. We now look ahead to CSIO2* Al Forsan.
