It has been an incredible month, filled with many clear rounds, Nations Cup call-ups, and a CSI4* Grand Prix win—2025 has got off to a dreamy start.
The month kicked off with two weeks at the incredible Al Shira’aa show! Week one saw Highland President impress with a CSI3* 1.45 clear and finishing 9th in the CSI3* 1.50 Grand Prix. Luidam’s Warrior did not disappoint either, with a 5th in the CSI3* 1.45! Caroline & Carlosspri jumped into 5th place in the CSI3* 1.30 and had a stellar clear round on day one!
Highland President stole the show in the second week, jumping an astounding clear round in the CSI4*-W Grand Prix, finishing in 9th place. Kannoon Blue also put in some fantastic clear rounds in the CSI4*-W 1.40 class and stepped up to place 11th in the CSI4*-W 1.45! A beautiful venue, with such a welcoming atmosphere – We are already looking forward to next year!
Trevor’s next event was CSI4-W* in Abu Dhabi. 8yrs Kanoon Blue placed 2nd and 5th in the CSI4* 1.40 classes, putting in some great performances across the weekend! Luidam’s Warrior stole the show, jumping the only double clear in the CSI4*-W 1.55 Grand Prix to finish in the top spot and bring home the win in this hotly contested class – a night we won’t forget anytime soon!
Meanwhile, back at home, Mia & Caroline took a long journey up to Scotland for Morris Pony Premier. Coming home with 6th place in the 138 Second Rounds with Another Milton. We can’t wait to see what this year holds for this pairing!
CSIO4* Sharjah meant the return of the green jacket and flying the flag for Team Ireland. Trevor and Highland President jumped two fantastic rounds, including a stellar clear round in Round 2, allowing the team to finish a respectable fifth place. It is excellent preparation for the first leg of the Longines League of Nations, which will take place in Abu Dhabi in a few week’s time!
