Our last run of shows in The UAE consisted of Grand Prix placings, many clear rounds and a magical Irish win in the first Longines League of Nations.
CSI3* Sharjah saw some fantastic performances from Trevor’s team, wrapping up with Luidam’s Warrior securing 5th place in the CSI3* Grand Prix! Another call-up for Team Ireland for the first Longines League of Nations was a true honour. Highland President gave a stellar performance for Team Ireland in the Nations Cup, jumping a crucial double clear and helping secure the win for Ireland in the first leg of the Longines League of Nations in Abu Dhabi with a perfect score of 0. It’s always an honour to wear the green jacket, and we’re looking forward to future opportunities in 2025.
For our final show in The UAE, we headed to Sharjah. Kannendro jumped clear all three days, picking 9th place in the opening 2* class. Kanoon Blue delivered double clears in the 2* 1.40m classes, while Luidam’s Warrior finished 8th in the CSI5*-W 1.50m. The Highland President was also impressed, placing 8th in the CSI5*-W Grand Prix. Caroline and Carlosspri finished on a high in the 2*1.40m classes, putting in solid performances. There are exciting things to come from this pair when we’re back on home turf!
