Following on from such a successful summer season, the team headed to Villamora for four weeks in the sun. Trevor’s up and coming superstars shone bright and BSH trainees stepped up with ease!

Trevor’s team consisted of half-brothers 8 year-old ‘Kannedro’ and 7 year-old ‘Kannoon Blue’ – who are both also half siblings to Trevor’s Silver European Medal partner ‘Highland President’ – as well as 8 year-old ‘ABC Cortana Cruise’. We also had BSH trainees Maryam Ahli, Leah Knowles and Lily Welch out with us on tour with their team of horses.

‘Kannendro’ showed his class and had a very educational show. Although this gelding has big boots to fill, he keeps stepping up and rising to each challenge set in front of him and we are sure he is one to watch!

‘ABC Cortana Cruise’ – aka Mrs. Consistent – cruised round the 1.40 classes with absolute ease, picking up 5 top 10 placings across the four weeks. Finishing on a high, this fantastic mare jumped her first 1,45m, continuing to impress us! We cannot wait to see what’s in store for her in the coming years.

7-year-old ‘Kannoon Blue’ well and truly stepped up his game, jumping multiple clear rounds in the CSI2* & CSI3* 1,35s in good company. Yet another horse we are extremely excited about and are thankful to have in our stable!

Our BSH students impressed us with each round they went into the ring. Maryam Ahli added an abundance of rosettes to her collection, with her two horses ‘Don Juan 111 Z’ and ‘Desperado S.W’, both of whom were sourced by Breen Sport Horses. ‘Don Juan 111 Z’ placed in every CSI 1* class he jumped, with a win, a 3rd, two 4th places as well as a 7th in their first 1,30! Not to be out done by stable mate, ‘Desperado S.W’ who also picked up 8 top 10 placing – Well done Maryam!

Trainee Leah Knowles and ‘Propehcy B’ stepped up their game from clear rounds in CSI1* 1,30 to clear rounds in CSI2* 1,35s by the end of the tour! Picking up 4 top 10 placings throughout the tour, this partnership has gone from strength to strength! After only being with us for the last few months, we couldn’t be prouder of how Leah rode this tour!

Lily Welch and ‘JCR Cartucho’ put in some great performances in the CSI 1* 1,10 competitions, coming home with a 3rd and 9th. We are so proud of all our trainee – all their hard work and efforts are really paying off.

As of right now, we are wrapping up for the winter season and looking forward to heading to the UAE in the new year. Thank you to all our sponsors, owners and supporters – we couldn’t do it without you
