We kicked off our month back in sunny Abu Dhabi for the CSI 5* Presidents Cup Show. It was a fantastic show, with ‘Luidam’s Warrior’ never finishing out of the top-10; claiming 8th in the opening 5* 1m50, 5th in the 5* 1m50 Ranking Class and finishing on a high with 4th in the 5* 1m55 Winning Round. This mare continues to improve and impress us at the highest level of the sport!
Back in England, Mia headed to the Pony of the Year Show in Arena UK. We couldn’t be prouder of Mia, expertly piloting her ponies around some challenging tracks and coming home with 4th place in the 138s GP Qualifier on ‘Another Milton’.
The whole team then headed to the CSI 2* Show at Chard Equestrian. The show started off brilliantly, with Caroline and ‘Carlosspri’ taking 10th place in the 2* 1.30m class. The standout of the show was homebred ‘Kannoon Blue’, who took 9th and 11th in the 2* 1m35 classes and rounded his show with a fantastic round in the 2* Grand Prix, showcasing his talent during his debut at this level!
Onto CSI 2* Chepstow, where the 8-year-old ‘Check Paris PS’ put on some outstanding performances in the 1m40 classes. The highlight of the show was our BSH student, Elizabeth East, who achieved victory in the 2* 1.35m Grand Prix on her own ‘Kennedy 55’. Congratulations to Elizabeth on her well-deserved win!
Then over to France for the CSI 3* show in Le Touquet which didn’t disappoint! All the horses jumped exceptionally well, with ‘Highland President’ doing what he does best to jump double clear and secure 5th in the 3* Grand Prix
